Prado Square's Tree

In Prado Square, Gandia, Spain, there stands a dead tree trunk, surrounded by modern metal formed trunks and branches. Legend has it that the land was ceded to the town in a will, so long as the tree remains in the square. If the tree goes, the land reverts to the family estate, thus the dead tree remains.
